ABOUT US
Danly Consulting Services was created in 2004 with a primary focus on assisting manufacturing companies and improving profits through many techniques. Mark Danly, as the principal, brings many years of expertise and a wide range of experience to the table.
Mark has been involved in many facets of manufacturing operations for over 30 years. Currently as an independent consultant, he works with companies to perform operations analysis and to implement productivity improvements. Such analysis includes lean manufacturing solutions, inventory control and purchasing systems, project management techniques, and production control systems.
Mark has worked in various types of industries including heavy manufacturing, machine building, high and low volume parts manufacturing, engineer to order, and make to stock environments.
Mark’s previous work experience includes Danly Machine Corporation, Rockwell International, Weiler Engineering, and Diamond Machine Werks, holding various positions such as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, Corporate Manufacturing Manager, Project Manager, and Industrial Engineer. Mark has a BSIE, and a MBA with an operations emphasis.
Through the years, Mark has been responsible for process improvements, value engineering, productivity improvements, and optimizing plant utilization and throughput. To accomplish this, he has instituted techniques such as plant expansions, plant consolidations, outsourcing programs, and employee programs to boost productivity. Other work has included implementation of ERP systems.
Mark has a special passion for manufacturing that began as a child when he would spend time during the summer at his family’s company.
